Anthony began his legal career as a litigation associate in the Medical Malpractice/Insurance Defense Group for Jones Walker in New Orleans, LA.

After five years of defending physicians and hospitals against malpractice claims, Anthony earned his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration in 2002.

Anthony worked as a corporate finance and investment banker for: Banc of America Securities LLC (Debt Capital Markets/Syndications) Wachovia Securities (Equity Capital Markets, Leverage Finance, M&A) He was part of the Wachovia team that executed the IPO of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in August 2005.

Anthony returned to law as a transactional attorney in the Real Estate Finance Group of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP in Charlotte, North Carolina, representing bulge bracket banks in the securitization of their commercial real estate loans.
